安德烈一生都在追寻着生命的意义和生活的价值。在起起落落中，他苦苦思索，寻求着一种超脱世俗生活的价值所在。安德烈的思索也启发我们读者的思索：生命的意义到底是什么?人应该怎样生活?这样的问题我想每一个有自我意识的人都应该曾经想过，也很可能像安德烈一样经过了一个反反复复、时而兴奋、时而落寞的痛苦的内心挣扎过程，甚至很可能到现在都没有找到能够真正说服自己的明确答案。我想，这个我们苦苦追寻的、左右我们的生活态度的东西就是我们常说的人生哲学吧。每个人的人生哲学都不尽相同，然而每个人追求人生意义的过程却颇为相似。是也?非也?哪里有衡量的标尺呢?

“人类一思考，上帝就发笑”，然而人类怎能停止思考呢?虽然奥斯特洛茨战场上高远的天空依然飘浮着宁静、镇定的白云，老榕树依然岁岁枯荣，安德烈的心灵历程却不会停止。
