The author Marie-Henri Beyle (January 23, 1783 – March 23, 1842) was better known by his pen name Stendhal. He was a 19th-century French writer. He was known for his acute analysis of his characters' psychology, and he is considered one of the earliest and foremost practitioners of realism in his two novels .The Red and the Black and The Charterhouse of Parma.
The book is divided into 4 parts. Now let me tell you the first part of this famous book.
