Unit 8 Shapes Lesson 2
教学目标:
1.Can listen ead and say the vocabulary : octopus,pig,peacock,ostrich.
2.Review the shapes.
教学目标的 检测途径 1.让学生听老师读单词,做相应的动作。 2.抽查个别学生读图片
教学重点:
octopus,pig,peacock,ostrich的记忆
教学难点:
octopus和ostrich的'认读
突破教学难点的方法 1.把两个图片“octopus”,“ostrich”的对比,提问学生上述在音、形、意义上的不同。 2.自创动作帮助学生记忆。

教学过程:
一、warm -up
1.Sing a song.
2.Read the cards.Let children take turns calling out animals.
3.呈现学过的动物包括狮子,老虎,大象,猴子等。
二、新课呈现(Presentation)
1.呈现圆形的建筑物“动物园”,Let’s go to the zoo.呈现“peacock ”Have the children say and do say"This is an peacock"(呈现多只孔雀让学生选择) Have the children say and do say"This is an peacock ".like this hat peacock.
2.“故事串串烧”呈现。ostrich:peacock正在臭美的时候,另一只bird不高兴了,它说:就之忧外表的美丽有什么用?我会在沙漠中奔跑,我是世界上跑的最快的bird ,让学生猜:What's the bird's name?呈现。ostrich,Have the children say and do say"This is an ostrich ".
3.继续故事串串烧:peacock、ostrich来比美。Pig做裁判。
4.Game::看谁跑得快(两组同学赛跑,其他同学说单词, 学生之间扮演ostrich和peacock。Say: I’m a ……。谁快谁赢),由pig宣布谁赢了。
5.呈现:pig,板书教说。学习说a pig has four legs, four ,four ,four. 呈现:octopus.An octopus has eight legs,eight,eight,eight.让学生明白是“An octopu is a fish”
6.A fish can swim ,What can swim?呈现:snake.A snake has no legs 6.Watch the VCD.Have the children act out with the teacher while trying to say to the rhyme. Play the VCD again and again.Repeat the words.
三、巩固和延伸(Consolidation and extension)
1.Ask some children to act out the rhyme.
2.Listening exercices.
3.Review the word "pencil" with the flashcards.
4.Direct the children to trace each shape and animals carefully and produce the word for each one.
四、作业布置
1.听、读今天学过的单词和韵文。
2.A4纸设计一个今天比赛的领奖台,标示单词
板书设计:
octopus, pig, peacock, ostrich.
