magnificent it is; Looking towards ocean, you will exclaim in surprise its popple; Looking up

to a pine, you will certainly praise how high and vigorous it is; Overlooking small grass, you must eulogize its steadfast and

persevering vitality. Yes, that is because there is full of a tenacious Chinese nation’s will throughout thousands years on their body, that is because their body condenses a Chinese nation’s essence throughout thousands years. After thousands of years, the Chinese nation’s crystallization of wisdom is coruscating holily in the world, in a simple and unsophisticated way, in a solemn and stirring way, depending on its unyielding and tenacious ethos, and depending on the national spirit which is indomitable and strives constantly for self-improvement after tribulation.

you learned to express a self love toward your parents; When you learned to cherish every granule grain; when you learned to be more broader when treating the others; when you acknowledge your mistake; When you are surefooted to do things before your reach your dream, that all you are doing to develop and expand traditional virtue and the national spirit is.

Match is for brightness, oil lamp is for night, we are born for our motherland. Our destiny has already linked up with our motherland tightly on the way paved with our sweat and toil tomorrow. Let the loud sound of the Yellow River surmount our soul, let our vast blackland strong our will, let us carry forward our national spirit and give our regretless youth for our motherland’s revival, peace and the unification.

Hi everybody.

In may, there is always a kind of feelings, always have a firm belief in rising. 16 candles lit up the youth milestone in the life journey, we met in the starting line of youth, for it made a regretless promise Duan Shaohua years, ready to go.

Youth is like a eagle flying high, tirelessly, towards the sea of clouds on each level advance, regardless of the ups and downs, and how much heart, how big is the heaven and earth. We in the wide world singing the music of youth, flying dreams of youth. We use of unremitting efforts, the endless pursuit, showing the power of youth.

Life gives us a huge and unlimited noble gift, this is youth: full of power, full of expectation, ambition for knowledge and struggle, full of hope and confidence of youth!

Finally, I want to use liang qichao's words to end today's speech: "young wisdom is the wisdom, is the young rich national wealth, young strong a country is strong, young is the progressive, young males in the earth, the male in the earth." Let's spread the sweat, drink pick-up, chew one with difficulty,Let youth burning under the red flag. Wish every young man holding his own dream, to shoulder their responsibilities, constantly have ridden on the voyage of life, forge ahead!

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return. But what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Time flies. In a twinkling of an eye, four years later, I am no longer the kid playing hide and seek, nor the coquettish little girl lying in her mother's arms. On this day, I bid farewell to my alma mater for four years and walked into the gate of No.3 middle school with my perfect vision for the future.

Coming to the new school, my first feeling is fresh. The campus is so clean and tidy, with wide playground and bright classroom; there are amiable teachers and friendly students, which makes me believe that I am not in the wrong place. I like the environment there. There are plants and trees for company. There are classmates who care for each other. There are teachers who teach me carefully. Such a beautiful school, such a brand-new classroom, such a kind family, really let me surging new tide.

When you come to a new school, you should have a new look. In a year there, I will make up for my own shortcomings. It's not enough to attend all kinds of lectures, but also to pay attention to the teachers' speeches I understand that it will be very difficult to do this. As long as you work hard, persevere and never shrink back, you will succeed.

I understand that everyone's mind is not the same, the new semester everyone has their own plan, let's join hands to advance towards the goal of self!

Spring Festival, the end of failure, the starting point of success, you give full of enthusiasm and infinite wisdom to the cold winter, to the sleeping earth, to the grass on the rock

Spring Festival, an exciting and full of longing words, you present a world of Banlan in front of innocent children, send songs and laughter to the middle of adults, scatter the seeds of hope to the fertile land, send the sweet spring to the heart of spring, and send the graceful dance to the bosom of spring.

Spring Festival, a summary of the years, a ladder of growth, you make yesterday's pure heart become mature, young trees become green and straight, the lotus root in the pond is no longer satisfied with the protection of the mud but desperately grow.

Spring Festival, you are charming, warm, mature, pure. Brilliant fireworks are blooming here, the bell of hope is ringing at this time, and the fruits of harvest are blooming with sweet fragrance and smiling. Let's face the first red sun rising in the morning, walk on the field of hope, depict the beautiful and transparent outline of tomorrow, and take the first step of the new year

Firecrackers sound farewell to the old year, greeting every sentence to welcome the new year. The calendar of 20xx has drowned the sadness of yesterday and opened a page full of vitality and beauty. We left the past year with deep feeling and sadness, and ushered in another new year with a temporary new mood.

Good morning.Ladies and gentlemen, it's my honor to be here today to give you this speech. My name is Coco. I'd like to talk about job satisfaction. I have divided my talk into three parts:firstly, the importance of job satisfaction; secondly, the factors of job satisfaction;finally, how to achieve job satisfaction.

Now, let's start with the first part: the importance of job satisfaction.

A job provides an individual with the necessary means to remain satisfied in almost every aspect of life such as leisure, health and social life.Several key factors are thought to be critical for an employee to achieve job satisfaction.

Let's turn to the second part: the factors of job satisfaction. A reasonable salary is of course the most important factor in job satisfaction. In many people's minds,an ideal job is first of all a well-paid one, which makes the employee feel that he is fairly rewarded for what he has done for the company.Another important element of job satisfaction is the nature of the job itself. Job satisfaction can never be achieved if the employee's education , skills and interests. Finally, job satisfaction is closely associated with being part of the decision-making process in the company as well as having opportunities for promotion.

Let's leave that there, now, let's come to the last part: how to achieve job satisfaction. for an individual employee, finding the right job and trying to stay positive might be the first step towards achieving job fulfillment and satisfaction.

It is a commonplace among moralists that you cannot get happiness by pursuing it. This is only true if you pursue it unwisely. Gamblers at Monte Carlo are pursuing money, and most of them lose it instead, but there are other ways of pursuing money, which often succeed. So it is with happiness. If you pursue it by means of drink, you are forgetting the hangover. Epicurus pursued it by living only in congenial society and eating only dry bread, supplemented by a little cheese on feast days. His method proved successful in his case, but he was a valetudinarian, and most people would need something more vigorous. For most people, the pursuit of happiness, unless supplemented in various ways, is too abstract and theoretical to be adequate as a personal rule of life. But I think that whatever personal rule of life you may choose it should not, except in rare and heroic cases, be incompatible with happiness. If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common.

The most important of these things is an activity which at most gradually builds up something that you are glad to see coming into exist

ence. Women who take an instinctive pleasure in their children can get this kind of satisfaction out of bringing up a family. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. Many men who spend their working life in the city devote their weekends to voluntary and unremunerated toil in their gardens, and when the spring comes, they experience all the joys of having created beauty. The whole subject of happiness has, in my opinion, been treated too solemnly.

It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. Perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. If, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more exercise, or what not. Man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. This is a humble conclusion, but I cannot make myself disbelieve it. Unhappy businessmen, I am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking six miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.

  Dear teachers and students

  hello everyone!

Gorky said: "books are the ladder of human progress." Everyone's growth and progress are inseparable from books, so the topic of my speech today is "I love reading".

I love reading, because books can enrich my knowledge. Through reading, I know that the motherland has a long and splendid culture; through reading, I see the rapid development of science and technology in today's world. Thousands of years, tens of thousands of miles, I saw a colorful world through the window of the book. I love reading, because books can make me understand the truth of life. I learned to love. I sympathized with the little match girl. I cared about the fate of bronze. I admired Madame Curie's rigorous and studious attitude, Qian xuesen and Li Siguang's patriotism. I learned to hate. I despised the stupid king. I ridiculed Chekov's "chameleon". I hated Japan's aggression against China and Hitler's atrocity of extermination

Students, let's love reading! With books, we will have the whole world, with books, we will have a better tomorrow!

My speech is over, thank you!

The environment of the world has been damaged by the human beings for so many years without much notice. In recent years, however, more and more nations have begun to preserve the environment as they have realized the importance of it.

The nature has given us so much, but look at what we have done in return for its generosity.Thousands upon thousands of trees have been cut down, including some precious species. Numerous rivers and lakes have been drained only to set up modern buildings. Priceless wildlife has turned into delicious dishes on the table. The air is being befouled by the smoke from the chimneys of the plants...

All this irritates the nature ,which results in the shortage of valuable resources, air pollution, countless acres of lands becoming deserts, etc.Fortunately, many countries have got to know the seriousness of the problem and take active measures to preserve the environment. We sincerely hope that all the peo;le in the world willtake part in the campaign and join hands to protect the nature.

  Good evening, everyone.

My name is WangHaili. I am an outgoing girl who likes reading and traveling. It’s really my great honor to stand here and give everyone a short speech.

People say, youth is fire which is ignited by passion. People say, youth is a chapter of the poem which is written by stories. The color of youth is bright and we make most use of our ardor to draw the scenes to the canvas of painting. But we may be confused and lose our direction in the youth time. Under this, youth slips away. Roman Roland says, life doesn’t issue return ticket and can never come back once sets out. So we should seize the short youth time and try our best to pursue our ideal. Do what should we do and let our youth without regret.

When we refer to ideal, we will realize the importance of ideal. Ideal is the beacon,. Without ideal, we will lose the firm direction. Without direction, we will lose our life. According to this, every one of us should establish our own ideal .so that we have the direction of straggle to the future. Tolstoy tells us, we should have the life objective from the whole life to the second. So we should cherish every moment and form our systematic objective. Youth is the prime time. We have strong body and energy and can sense the meaning of life under the guide of ideal.

As we know, the ideal is plentiful and reality is skinny. But we should believe that we will become stronger and stronger in the way to pursue ideal. Future is unknown,. If we hope our future is nice, we should enrich our youth time and find the direction of future.

  A Young Idler,An Old Beggar

Almost everyone knows the famous Chinese saying:A young idler,an old beggar. Throughout history,we have seen many cases in which this saying has again and again proved to be true.

It goes without saying that the youth is the best time of life, during which one's mental and physical states are at their peaks. It takes relatively less time and pains to learn or accept new things in a world full of changes and rapid developments. In addition, one is less likely to be under great pressure from career, family and health problems when young. Therefore,a fresh mind plus enormous energy will ensure success in different aspects of life.

Of course,we all know:no pains,no gains. If we don't make every effort to make good use of the advantages youth brings us,it is impossible to achieve any goals. As students,we should now try our best to learn all the subjects well so that we can be well prepared for the challenges that we will face in the future.

If There Were No After Life

whether there's afterlife, the answer has never been the same. the atheists deny after life, believing that our life is no more than from the cradle to the grave. they may care about their illustrious names after death; they may feel attached to the affection of their offspring, but they never lay their hopes on their afterlife. they may also say that good will be rewarded with good, and evil with evil, but they don't really believe any retribution in their after life.

however, in the religious world or among the superstitious people, the belief in afterlife is very popular. they do not only believe in afterlife, but thousands of reincarnations as well. in the mysterious world, there are the paradise and the hell, the celestial beings and the gods, the buddha and the bodhisattvas.

maybe they really believed it, or maybe they just wanted to make use of people's veneration, the ancient emperors always declared that they were the real dragons, the sons of god, while the royal ministers claimed to be the reincarnations of various constellations. but can the stars reincarnate?

many people burn incense and kowtow, do good deeds and strive for virtues, not just for the present, but mainly to let god see their sincerity so as to be reborn into a better afterlife, or to achieve the highest enlightenment after several lives of practice. they do believe in afterlife. but i can't help asking: suppose there were no afterlife, would you still do good deeds and strive for virtues? and if god does not see what you are doing, would you still be so upright and selfless? if you work, not for serving the public and liberating the others, but just for a better afterlife of your own, isn't it a little too selfish? comparing with this kind of believers, those who don't believe in afterlife, but still keep doing good deeds, are the most sincere and honest philanthropists, because they do them not for themselves but for other.
