　　My dog

　　My dog returned love for my cruelty.（以德报怨）.Several years ago,my brother brought a small,thin and dirty dog back.It looked ugly and I didn't like it.My brother gave him the name "Jackie".Although he soon became the pet in the family,I felt indifferent about him.Unlike my brother,I never played with him,nor fed him.Instead,I shouted at him when I was scolded by Mother.He used to squat beside me when I was doing homework,but whenever I couldn't work out some problems,I would kick him away.This lasted for about two years.When I became a senior high school student,I often came back home very late in the evening.Jackie,who had grown stronger and bigger,became a necessary and good companion to me.He always waited for me somewhere on my way back home,and ran to me quickly at my calling"Jackie".He walked beside me like a faithful guard.I was moved by his generous love,and was ashamed of my cruel behavior towards him.

　　Some people like keeping pets while some people think we should stop keeping pets but I think we shouldn’t stop keeping pets because pets are our good friends. For example a strong dog can keep your house safe all the time and a lovely cat or rabbit can make you happy all the time. You will have fun when you play with them and look after them. When you feel sad you can play with your pets and this will give you a good mood. But not all pets are good. Some dangerous and wild animals such as snakes wolves tigers may be harmful to you. Sometimes pets will damage the enviroment because they always make dirty things. But on the whole I think pets are friendly to people and we shouldn’t stop keeping pets.

　　Today, grandpa took me to the Ji'nan zoo to play. I'm so happy. Walking into the gate of the zoo, you can see all kinds of animals.

　　First of all, we went to the meadow, and grandpa told me that it was called the golden Taurus park. When I listened to Grandpa's words, I was more curious. Look East, see. We first looked at tropical monkeys, squirrels, and long tailed monkeys. Then I went on, and I saw the long gibbon in my arm, and it was resting, and it seemed as if we were saying, "I'm glad to see you." 　　今天，爷爷带我去济南动物园玩，我真高兴。走进动物园的大门，就可以看见各种各样的动物。

　　首先，我们去的是金牛草地，爷爷还告诉我说，这儿以前叫做金牛公园。听了爷爷的话，我更加充满了好奇，东看看，西瞧瞧。我们先去看了热带猴、松鼠和长尾猴。接着继续向前走，我看到了胳膊长长的长臂猿，此时它正在休息，看到我们似乎在说：“看到你们我很高兴。”一直向前，看了美丽的梅花鹿，看了角又尖又长的羚羊，还看了西藏野驴。其实，在看西藏野驴的时候，我们还闹过一个笑话呢！我和爷爷都说，“这马真高大。”可以看路标才知道它是驴，因为它和马长得实在太像了，长长的脖子，长长的脸，还有健壮的'四条腿。

　　让我印象最深的是长长脖子的、高大的长颈鹿和嘴巴大得像大盆的河马、身体粗壮的大猩猩。还有我终于见到了那个大块头——长鼻子，耳朵可以当扇子用的大象。这个大块头看起来非常壮，身子就像一堵墙，它还可以用鼻子做许多的事情，如：洗澡，搬运食物等等。
