我的家乡英语作文

有一次，我在奶奶家吃饭，奶奶端上一盘菜，我一看，差点没把脸拉下半尺长。你们可能都猜不到那是什么，告诉你们，那是一盘子的野菜。奶奶对我说：“快吃呀!不记得有多久没吃到野菜了，多好吃啊!”奶奶说着就坐下来，津津有味地吃了起来。当时我可真是左右为难了，那种苦涩的味道真使我受不了。奶奶看出了我的想法，说：“你不爱吃吧?”我点了点头，奶奶这才又把炒好的海鲜，烧好的排骨端上了桌。看看那天天都吃的菜，我还是皱着眉头。这时，只听“叮咚”门铃响过，妈妈手里提着烧鸡、麦当劳和可口可乐回来了。这可解救了我。奶奶看到这一切，又感慨起来了：“现在这孩子们啊，都不知道吃什么好了!回想以前，人们只可以用政府发的粮票，买一点限量供应的东西，多一点都没有。平时一家人也只有一点点鸡蛋，一点点油。过年过节，政府才供应一点肉、鱼和酒。再看看现在，想吃什么就有什么，生活多富裕呀!”
