新年的英语作文【篇一】

今年春节，我最快乐的事就是吃团年饭。
四点半时，奶奶准备做团年饭了，我跟着奶奶来到了厨房，只见厨房里堆满了大大小小的篓子和各种各样的盘子，篓子和盘子里面装着各种各样的菜。奶奶说：“这里东西太多了，你去客厅看电视吧!”就这样，我被奶奶赶出了厨房。
我坐在客厅里悠闲地看电视，不一会儿，一股香喷喷的'菜香味飘进我的鼻孔，我一闻就知道是我最喜欢吃的红烧猪尾巴，顿时，我的口水不停地往外流，肚子也在咕咕地地叫，我向厨房飞奔过去，趁爷爷奶奶不注意顺手抓起一块，就往嘴里一扔，这猪尾巴真香啊!吃得我满嘴油腻腻的，我忍不住再吃一块，没想到被爷爷发现了，爷爷对奶奶说：“快看!快看!老鼠吃猪尾巴了!”我不好意思地跑出厨房。
六点，舅舅两手端着热腾腾的菜大声喊着：“开饭啰!”我们迅速地围坐在餐桌上，等奶奶宣布“开席”，我东瞧瞧，西望望，桌上的菜可真丰盛啊!有金灿灿的土豆丝、有红彤彤的糖蜜西红柿、还有绿油油的大白菜，咦!怎么还有一道菜没揭开盖子呢，在好奇心的驱使下，我打开盖子，一条活灵活现的鲤鱼出现在我们面前，奶奶说：“这是鱼形八宝饭。”我吃了一口，哇!里面都是豆沙!吃在嘴里甜甜的，软软的。奶奶说：“我买鱼形八宝饭是因为我希望新年中大家的生活甜甜蜜蜜，年年有余。”(
晚饭后，爷爷和奶奶到厨房去洗碗，其它人则去客厅看春晚，耐心地等待除夕的到来。
