直到有一天，伐木工人偶然发现了这里，这片森林渐渐的被斧头无情的砍倒，猎人手中的猎枪绝情的将动物们猎杀。当这里的'最后一棵树被砍倒，最后一只动物被猎杀，那曾经美丽而宁静的森林不复存在，取而代之的是一栋栋高耸入云的大厦和楼房，就在人类为自己的“杰作”而沾沾自喜的时候，大自然终于发怒了，它用它的方法来“回报”人类。地震、洪水、台风……这些正在无情的吞噬着人类的生命。有人说这是天灾，但是仔细想一下造成这种后果的元凶还是人类自己。人类既然已经做出了这种事就应该受到惩罚。在地震和洪水过后人类的“杰作”毁于一旦，但是人类不会吸取教训，哪里有森林人类的足迹将留在哪里，无情的地震与洪水还将“光临”那里。
如果人类的恶性不停止的话那么大自然的复仇将不会停止，直到人类灭绝。因为只有人类灭绝才能够停止他们所做的一切。难道只有等世界上最后一棵树被砍倒，世界上最后一只动物被猎杀之后人类才会醒悟吗?
