　　My dog

　　My dog returned love for my cruelty.（以德报怨）.Several years ago,my brother brought a small,thin and dirty dog back.It looked ugly and I didn't like it.My brother gave him the name "Jackie".Although he soon became the pet in the family,I felt indifferent about him.Unlike my brother,I never played with him,nor fed him.Instead,I shouted at him when I was scolded by Mother.He used to squat beside me when I was doing homework,but whenever I couldn't work out some problems,I would kick him away.This lasted for about two years.When I became a senior high school student,I often came back home very late in the evening.Jackie,who had grown stronger and bigger,became a necessary and good companion to me.He always waited for me somewhere on my way back home,and ran to me quickly at my calling"Jackie".He walked beside me like a faithful guard.I was moved by his generous love,and was ashamed of my cruel behavior towards him.

　　Many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction, because the environment that they are living in has changed greatly. For example, with the developmet of cities, the using of insecticide and serious pollution, their living areas have become narrowcr and narrower. Many of the wild animals, now are confronted with food crisis. At the same time, man is killing off species just for getting their fur, skin, horns, teeth and meat.

　　In order to protect our resources of ecology, people should realize that the loss of any species is at least the loss of source of knowledge and a source of natural beauty.

　　There fore, measures of the following should be taken: pollution standards are made to keepdown poisons; killing off certain rare species is prohibited; national parks should be set up as wild life, reserves.

　　Only if we human beings take some drastic measures can wild animals be preserved.

　　The snake is a long and thin animal that lives in grass or other dark places. A snake has no legs or feet, but it can move very fast on its stomach. For the single people, pets could be a good companion, especially for an introvert, they prefer to talk to an innocent animal better than a person who is wearing a mask.

This is really sick; it’s hard to understand that what kind of people would hurt an animal when they are look into their innocent eyes.
