　　1妇女节高中英语作文

　　Today is Women’s Day early in the morning I opened the computer and read the news. I found most people planned to give their mothers the surprise until then did I realize that I should do something to my mom she took care of us all the time now she deserved to have a rest. So my father and I planned something for her.

　　今天是妇女节，一大早，我打开电脑看新闻。我发现大部分人打算给他们的'母亲惊喜，直到那个时候，我才发现我应该为母亲做一些事情，她一直在照顾着我们，现在她应该要休息一下。因此爸爸和我计划为她做一些事情。

　　My father and I told my mother she should take a rest in this day so my mother went to find her friends and went to shopping. My father and I decided to buy her a necklace my mother wanted to have a necklace for a long time but she thought it would spend a lot of money so she gave up. My father and I went to the jewelry shop we chose a necklace for my mother and she would be very happy.

　　爸爸和我对妈妈说她今天应该休息一下，因此妈妈去找她的朋友购物。爸爸和我决定给她买一条项链，妈妈一直以来都想买一条项链，但是她觉得会花很多钱，所以她放弃了。爸爸和我去到珠宝店，我们为妈妈选择了一条项链，她肯定会很开心的。

　　When we went back home we started to cook the dinner after a while my mother came back. When she saw the dishes she laughed then my father took out the necklace my mother was very surprised she couldn’t say a word. I wish my mother happy all the time.

　　当我们回家的时候，开始做完饭，过了一回，妈妈回来了。她看到菜的时候，大笑起来，然后爸爸拿出项链，她很吃惊，无法说出话来。我希望妈妈一直都这么开心。

　　Today is march 8th--international women's day.Father wanted to please mother and let her have a good rest. He said he would cook the meals today.In fact he is always busy with his work and knows nothing about housework. He seldom cooks if no one　cooks　for him he　will eat nothing

　　So mother and I were very surprised to hear what he said. But father was serious and he said he was going to do some shopping first. he didn‘t know what to buy. so mother wrote all the things on a piece of paper：

　　1.cake 2.egg 3.tomato 4.fish

　　1、蛋糕 2、蛋 3、西红柿 4、鱼

　　5.milk 6.salt 7.chicken

　　5、牛奶 6、盐 7、鸡肉

　　Then father went out. half an hour later he came back with a smile on his face. he brought out all the things: one cake two eggsthree tomatoes four fish five bottles of milk six bags of salt and seven fat chickens!

　　Mother was greatly surprised. she couldn't say a word.今天是3月8日国际妇女节，父亲想请妈妈，让她好好休息一下。他说他今天会做饭，事实上，他总是忙于工作，对家务事一无所知。他很少做饭，如果没有人给他做饭，他什么也吃不下

　　母亲大为惊讶。她一句话也说不出来。

　　International Women's Day originally called International Working Women's Day is marked on March 8 every year which is a holiday for women in the whole world. Different nations or regions have different celebrations towards this holiday but their purpose is common namely appreciating for women's economic political and social achievements. China started to commemorate this day since 1922 and the first mass commemoration activity was held in Guangzhou in 1924. In December 1949 the Central People's Government Administration Council formally announced for the Women's Day on March 8. With Opening up and progress of society women are playing an increasingly important role in all fields. We can see their great achievements everywhere. Therefore this is a day to protect the rights and interests of women as well as praise them outstanding contributions.

　　每年的3月8日定为国际妇女节，也称国际劳动妇女节，这是一个全世界女性的共同节日。不同的国家和地区有不同的庆祝方式，但目标都是一样的，都是为了嘉奖女性对经济、政治和社会所作出的贡献。我国于1922年开始纪念"三八"节。中国妇女第一次群众性的'纪念"三八"节活动是1924年在广州举行的。1949年12月，中央人民政府政务院规定每年的3月8日为妇女节。随着社会的开放和进步，女性在各个领域都发挥着越来越重要的作用，我们随处可见女性的巨大成就。因此，这不仅是一个保护妇女权益的节日，也是一个表扬女性突出贡献的节日。
