　　一、写作指导

　　通知通常可分为口头通知和书面通知两种，口头通知只需用一段话讲清其内容，不必写出通知的单位和日期。要注意口头通知开头和结尾的.写法。现实生活中，还有一种广播通知,实际上广播通知也属于口头通知的范畴。而书面通知则有一定的格式要求，如要先写标题，然后写下文，写完后，在右下角应写发通知的单位，在左下角应写发通知的日期。

　　二、常用表达

　　写通知通常要使用的表达有：

　　Attention please, everyone. I have an announcement to make.

　　May I have your attention, please?

　　Everyone is asked to be there on time.

　　Be sure not to be late.

　　Please be present on time.

　　Please take your notebooks with you and be sure on time.

　　Those who are interested in it are warmly welcome.

　　We are going to hold a meeting to discuss the problem.

　　There will be a meeting to discuss the problem.

　　Please be quiet, everyone! I’ve some thing to tell you.

　　I’m glad to tell you something important.

　　That’s all. Thank you very much.

　　请根据下列所供材料，写一则词数为100—120字的`口头通知。

　　假设你是学生会干事,由你用英语向同学们通知英语口语竞赛的有关情况：

　　1. 竞赛于5月8日举行，由英语办公室和学生会合办。

　　2. 演讲题目为学校生活，如“我的同学”、“我的老师”等。

　　3. 竞赛后由校长公布结果并颁奖。

　　In order to improve your spoken English, the Students’ Union and the English office will hold a spoken English competition together. The competition will be held on May 8th. The topic of the competition is supposed to be one about school life, such as “an honoured teacher” or “My classmate”.
