　　Halloween

　　Halloween always falls on 31 October. It’s a holiday for children. On that day, children always wear fancy clothes and masks. And then, they go from house to house to say “Trick or Treat”, so that people will treat them with candies. If they don’t receive any candies, they’ll play a trick on people. But sometimes if the people are going out, when the children come, they’ll put the candies in a carved pumpkin lanterns. Children will take the candies themselves. All of the children enjoy this holiday very much.

　　今天是10月28日，是西方国家的万圣节，也就是鬼节。在这个节日里，人们都要打扮成各种样子，有扮成鬼的、有扮成公主的、有扮成牛魔王的、还有扮成小巫女的，等等。就是通过庆祝活动驱走鬼怪、保佑平安的。每当万圣节前夕（万圣夜）来到时，小孩们都要穿上花花绿绿的衣服，戴上形态怪异的面具去挨家挨户换糖果，还要说：“不给糖果就捣乱！”下面就是我参加一次万圣节活动的故事，请大家赶快竖起耳朵听我讲讲吧！

　　早知道英语学校今天有万圣节活动，我和妈妈商量了好久，决定打扮成了小公主来参加活动。一进瑞思英语的大门，哎呀，变样了！墙贴上了可怕的蜘蛛网、黑黑的树枝，桌子上当然还有南瓜灯，这些都是万圣节的标志。过道里，小朋友们都打扮成了不同样子，我都认不出来啦！进了我的教室，也都变样了！教室的门上被纸贴黑了，在黑纸上，还贴着几只蝙蝠。原来贴的“a、b、c”不见了，变成了南瓜灯。天花板上挂各种各样的南瓜灯模型。看来，万圣节活动的准备工作已经好了。

　　今年的'万圣节活动是一组游戏，就是要到不同的教室去闯关，我们组是第一个闯关的。听了老师的安排，我心里砰砰直跳，心想：会不会又向去年一样，教室里藏了一个“鬼”出来吓唬人。心里正在忐忑不安时，老师宣布了闯关游戏规则。第1个教室是投硬币！谁投进去了一个硬币，谁就得一颗糖果。第2个教室是抢椅子；第3个教室是猜猜看，具体是“小组长描绘一个物品，组员来猜是什么”；第4个教室是老师来说单词，小朋友来找出单词，然后再把单词背后的糖果取出来；第5个是做手工。我们整个上午都在疯玩。
